We're Indians who got tired of finance apps designed for someone else's country. Walnut had ads. Axio felt like 2014. Spreadsheets were lonely. So we built the app we wanted - one that respects your data, runs on your phone, and combines every rupee you own or owe into one calm screen. No loan ads. No selling your spend history. Just a tool that does its job and gets out of the way.

Vrid is a smart expense and investments tracker app. We want to build the smartest personal finance app to make every Indian financially better off.
Vrid app converts the SMS you receive from your bank/credit card etc to transaction and then categorizes them. The app needs SMS permission to be fully functional.
Vrid does not read any personal messages (messages received from mobile numbers or contacts). The app also skips reading any of the OTPs or passwords received in the SMS. Vrid only reads messages received from certified senders which represent a bank, credit card providers, digital wallets, etc.
Make sure you have registered your mobile number with your bank/credit card provider and granted SMS permission to Vrid. If the app is still not able to recognize the transactions, then you can request support for your bank or credit card provider. To do this, go to Profile -> Report Messages, search for the message and click on "Add Support" button. We will make sure to integrate that in our next release.
Your data is 100% secure and private. Vrid app encrypts all sensitive data on your device before storing it in the server. We do not share your data with any third parties. We only use your data for providing you better services and personalized experience. You can learn more about our privacy policy here.
Yes. You can export your full transaction history to CSV or PDF from inside the app - useful for taxes, accountants, or moving to a different tool.
To delete your data, please mail us at admin@vrid.in from your registered email id. We will make sure to delete all your records within 14 days from receiving this email. You can learn more about it here.
